The Miner has managed to obtain a mount too by now. With a little help from me. 15 gold worth of help. Nothing compared to the help he gave me, to the tune of 45 gold. But then he has a more lucrative profession in our alternate existence. So now we can run around as a little troup: Audacity, Ferocity, Velocity, Vehement and Fluffy. Yes, Fluffy. I'm not kidding.
Weather is still reasonably nice, much better than in the so-called summer (mid to high 20s). We went for a swim today. It's not like we're out hunting monsters all the time.

A reasonably nice summer day by UK standards today -- 25 degrees and pleasant, so we headed to Lysterfield Lake Park again. Against my better judgement I was persuaded to try a trail again. One without any obstacles. I didn't even fall off. Then we explored a bit, reaching by a complete coincidence (or so I'm told) the start of the Olympic Mountain Bike Trail, after an enormous climb advertised by the GPS Owner as being 35m but ended up 60. I forget. Everything disappears in a haze of red. However, the view was worth it.
These are the switchbacks (uphill) that are part of the Olympic Mountain Bike Track. Having just done a 60m climb just to get to this point I said "No" very firmly, leaving the Obsessive Climber to go around the trail in a personal best of 22 minutes and a bit, while I sensibly sat down in the shade enjoying the view.
Today's actual sunset. All these sunsets are just to hide the fact that we are very very jealous of you in the Northern Hemisphere who got to see a fantastic lunar eclipse.

Yet another beautiful sunset, captured on the way home from the pub. The weather has been terrible all day but the sunset made up for it. It rained a lot, annoyingly not on the seaward-facing side, where we hoped it would rain as the windows there are full of building-site dust. We'd clean them but they're inaccessible so we have to wait for the cleaning schedule to get round to them. About once every three months or so as this country has a water shortage.

My alter ego in World of Warcraft attained Level 40 today, meaning I could finally get a mount. I chose a Spotted Frostsaber to keep Ferocity (my alter ego's pet) company. Ferocity is a Level 39 Nightsaber. This is a picture of our little group: Audacity, Ferocity and Velocity.
Also, we've been having an Asian Food week. As in, we bought a cookbook and are trying things out. So far we have had Baked Lemon Chicken (pictured), Nasi Goreng and Beef Rendang. All resounding successes.
